Kahpe Okey / Privacy policy

This policy describes how OREBRON’s Kahpe Okey handles information in its current development version. Data handling may change as the game develops; this page will be updated when it does.
Offline and online versions
The Godot prototype plays against computer opponents and saves only your nickname locally. The nickname is limited to 16 characters and does not create an online account.
The Unity online version uses Firebase anonymous authentication to create a player identifier and maintain a sign-in session. This online version does not ask for a real name, email address or phone number. Firebase may keep authentication and cache information on your device.
Online tables and match records
Firebase Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Functions and backend Firestore support online rooms and gameplay. Room codes, membership, player identifiers, match identifiers, timestamps, tile actions and melds are sent to the game server.
The server stores match state, action history and private hands to run a match. Public table state and results are shared with participants; each player receives their own private hand. Completed results include round and match scores, winner identifiers, end times and score breakdowns. Unexpected server failures can produce technical error logs.
Diagnostics and purchases
No advertising network or real-money purchase flow is active. Unity Analytics and Ads services are disabled, but the online Unity build enables engine diagnostics and an engine telemetry flag. Unity may process technical device or diagnostic information depending on its build configuration.
Your choices and retention
You can use the offline prototype without an online game account. Internet access is needed for online tables. Clearing local data or uninstalling does not automatically delete anonymous account records, stored online matches or server logs.
The current prototype has no in-game account-deletion flow or defined automatic deletion schedule. Contact OREBRON for help with account and match-data requests. Provide your player identifier if available, rather than authentication tokens.
